Serving the Children of the World

Our vision

The Scappoose Kiwanis will be a positive influence in our community and worldwide- so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them, and provide the support they need to thrive.

To meet the goals of our vision statement, the Scappoose Kiwanis offer a number of community-based events. This includes our annual Share & Care food drive, free Easter Egg Hunt, scholarship opportunities for our local high school seniors, citizenship awards for our high achieving elementary and middle schoolers, partnerships with our local National Honors Society, and much more!

We welcome all Scappoose community members join our efforts!

We pledge...

To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material values of life.

To encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.

To promote the adoption and application of higher social, business, and professional standards.

To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.

To provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service, and to build better communities.

To cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which make possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill.
